Update: Crisp Pork Belly with Apple and Fennel Coleslaw

So. How did the dinner turn out? I'm not kidding when I say this would be one of the top 20 best recipes I have ever had the pleasure of cooking in terms of effort versus result. Please do me a favor and TRY IT! Pork belly, although a tad "indulgent", is a cheap cut - I picked this up for $6.99 a kilo (about 2.8kg worth), so a relatively cheap dinner, and we still have leftovers (Mrs Woog, there's going to be a pork belly roll, a la Avenue Road Cafe, with your name on it on my kitchen counter at 1pm tomorrow. Be there.) Oh, and the sauce. THE SAUCE! Like I said, try it, Tonic-ettes.

PS I forgot to buy fennel, but otherwise followed the recipe to a T. It was perfection (although I think I'm having heart palpitations as we speak...).
