Cool (NEW) blog: My Chic Abode

It's so easy for new blogs to slip under the radar for far too long, and knowing how invaluable a leg-up can be in those early days, I thought I'd alert you all to a new blog I know you're going to love. The author is Kristy, she's an Interior Designer (and an Aussie!), and this is her blog, My Chic Abode.

Kristy began her career in design by completing a qualification in Interior decorating at the Commercial Arts Training College. After graduating she worked alongside a number of established local designers including Bridget Tyer pty Ltd and Tempo Interiors (Mosman) as design assistant. More recently she independently managed several decorating jobs including a commercial project which involved sourcing furnishings for a new bar. Over the years Kristy has gained an extensive knowledge of home furnishing suppliers and tradespeople both locally and internationally. She keeps abreast of current trends, spending a large portion of her spare time combing design blogs and magazines for the latest product offerings. Kristy is an intuitive and passionate decorator. Her appreciation for a wide variety of decorative styles means she can work to create almost any look, and her designs are always unique, on trend, and cost efficient.

PS My Chic Abode alerted me to this ridiculously awesome London loft apartment in the (apparently) hilarious new film, Get Him to the Greek, starring Russell Brand (love him). It's very rock-star, don't you think? Ugh. That view...
