FOUND: Boooooots!!!!!!!!!

Ever since we moved house, I've been wondering what happened to all my boots from last winter. Like, pulling-my-hair-out wondering. Mr Tonic even (casually) suggested I may have accidentally thrown them out at some stage. Today, Anoushka, home sick with another head cold, casually pointed to the big cane chest I SIT NEXT TO EVERY NIGHT and said: "Mama, what's in there?". I think I almost broke her I hugged her so hard. Ta-daaa! PS I don't need to tell you this isn't all of them, but these are definitely 3 of my faves.

  1. Hilarious! And it must have been better than Christmas to find your old faithfuls. Isn't it lovely now that the days are cooler and we can wear boots again?

  2. haha! What's that saying about hiding in plain sight! I'm in desperate need of new boots this winter. Most likely the waterproof variety judging by the state of our weather so far....

  3. haha snap! I have exactly the same story. When we moved over here I naturally left all my winter boots in Oz and have spent the last 2 winters when we visit frantically searching for them, resigned to the fact that they may have been accidently thrown out in all the chaos of the move. Searching Mum's place then my parent-in-law's place back and forth and back and forth - had nearly given up - when noah finally found them in a special box I had put them in in a place I had looked in but missed. I was so so overjoyed with happiness. It felt like a birthday or Christmas. Simple things huh?! Missing wearing boots now!
