If you're in Sydney this Sunday and you're starting to firm up plans for the weekend, please stop by Bondi Markets and say hi to Nicole, of The Transcontinental Affair fame. Nicole will be aiming to sell 1000 origami cranes in a day to raise money for The Japanese Red Cross Society. The markets were a mammoth washout last weekend, with one of the wettest Sydney Sundays in 30 years (yeah, good one Mother Nature)!
Cranes will be going for $5 for one, 3 for $10 and strings of five for $20. Already baggsed myself a "string". Oh, and bought this very cool t-shirt (below) the other night. Nothing like shopping for a good cause - everyone wins!
Click to buy your Opening Ceremony Red Cross Japan Tee. Shipping to Australia via Fedex was around $23, but still worth it, I say.
