"Zest for Design: A visit with Louise and Graeme"

This was the beautiful little Federation house we recently sold and moved out of, featured in all it's glory (with a little help from a stylist!) in the current issue of Home Ideas magazine which hit the stands last Friday (18th February). I think they captured the essence well in these really beautiful images... (Click pics to enlarge)

  5. Just beautiful - and thanks for a idea. The boys' room has a ride on up on the floating bookshelf. That's just what I need to do with my youngest's Flyer ride-on we bought him when he was 1 and now doesn't use but we want to keep forever.

  7. Okay so I need to know how the heck you keep a white coverlet white in a boys room? I am actually thinking of doing it with my 8yr old but I think I would have a heart attack if he sat on his own bed (probably not a very nice mum thing to do).

While I have your attention what do you think of navy walls?

  9. Thanks for the kind words, everyone! Meenal - To be honest, I don't miss it too much, rather busy with our new "project"! Plus, the area where we now live (further North and RIGHT near the beach is like a slice of paradise! Ellie - It's really just a white cotton doona cover that I chuck inthe wash (and the Nappisan from time to time!!). PS Navy walls? Hell yeah. DO IT!!!

  10. This place is so cute, especially the living and dining room. Do you recall what color beige is on the walls?

Your style sort of reminds me of this designer: http://www.aliceindesignland.com/blog/designer-showcase-m-design-interiors.html with a little more of a modern edge.
