Table Tonic giveaway: Cristina Re designer journals

Another week, another giveaway! This time, I have 6 gorgeous Cristina Re journals to give away (valued at $21.95 each) to 6 lucky readers! Each A5, hard cover journal is beautifully detailed with luxurious finishes including metallic foiling, flocking or embossing and lined pages inside. Aren't they special?

(above) The delightfully named of the journals include carnival gold, majestic midnight, bronze deco, butterfly garden, silver deco and peacock blush. I have one of each to give away. UPDATE: To enter, simply leave a comment on this post, telling me the most romantic moment (real or fantasy!) you'd like to note in your journal. (If you've already entered, you're still in the running!) I have "carnival gold" and it's like a little party in the corner of my desk! You have until midnight (AEST) Sunday February 13th to enter and winners will be announced right here on Monday 14th February (aka Valentine's Day). PS The giveaway is open to Table Tonic readers right around the world!

(above) You may have caught Cristina in the Spring issue of Adore Home. Or perhaps you caught a glimpse of her "Spanish inspired villa" (below) in the August 2009 issue of Shop Til you Drop magazine. Click here for the online article.

Cristina says, “I love to collect pretty and unique things from my travels, from places like Paris, Rome, LA and Shanghai. My house inspires my work, so it should be airy and bright, and have lots of light, which makes you happy. Each room is a complete contrast to the other rooms, yet somehow they complement each other. The dining room has a French feel, with greens and golds; the lounge room is oriental, with accents of red, pink and blue." - via Shop til You Drop. And PPS Don't forget to check out the Cristina Re blog. Good luck, Tonic-ettes!

  13. Oooh I'm a 'stationery' fanatic and a BIG fan of everything by Christina Re, so this giveaway has my name all of over it LOL!
My fave is the Silver Deco....love love love!
And my most romantic moment to date was when I was 9 months pregnant with my daughter {in the climax of summer, so all fat & fluidy lol} and my Husband wrote me the most romantic, love-filled Christmas Card about how much he loved me & how amazing I looked whilst carrying our child :)) Awww!

  14. I'm so happy I found your blog, thanks to apartment therapy! And what a GORGEOUS set of journals. Swoon. If I had one in my hands, I'd write down every emotion and thought I could remember from my July wedding ceremony - from the moment I walked down the aisle (or in my case, the ramp - we were married on a theatre stage) until the moment we shared our first married kiss. I've never felt that kind of complete, all-encompassing joy in my life. Best day (and hubby) EVER!

  15. The most romantic moment I'd like to write down in a journal is when my friend wrote a beautiful poem about his love for me in attempt to capture my heart and needless to say I now call him my husband... yes it was that good :-)
    Great giveaway!!!

  18. Ah, Louise, you really come up with the goods! As a stationery fiend, I love Christina's work. The silver deco and peacock blush would be my picks.

I posted about my husband's proposal to me at http://www.lifeonplanetbaby.com/2010/10/introducing-my-darling-mr-pb-love-story.html. However, I've never committed it to paper and having it in my handwriting in one of these divine journals would be a treat. Something for the grandchildren to savour in the years to come, maybe! J x

  19. Ooh majestic midnight and peacock blush! So gorgeous. The romantic moment I would write about in my journal (and that I have written about, since I regularly keep a journal) is my first kiss with my husband. I've always been a very shy and reserved young lady, and my husband is very charismatic and comical. What originally brought us together was our shared interest in video games (nerdiness). Our second date was at a restaurant that had a private room with Guitar Hero, which was my favorite game at the time. I was concentrating rather hard on the game so that I could ignore the fact that he was watching over my shoulder and touching my arm in a very distracting way (as I said, I'm very shy). Finally, when I was almost finished with Metallica's One, he bent over and kissed me. I have never been a big fan of Metallica in the past, but to this day I can't listen to that song without being taken back to that moment.

  20. Just gorgeous!
I would write about how my husband and I met, dating and then our married life before children.
Then in 7 years time when my daughter is 18 give it to her to read. So when she's dating she won't go out with anyone less than her father!

  21. I am a new follower and I just wanted to say thanks for always posting such pretty things! It gets me through the working week!

The moment I would write about is the day my husband proposes to me. I'd describe the setting and try and capture how I was feeling so full of hope and excitement about future possibilities....

    It's all fantasy though!!

  22. Oh fun! I love a pretty journal. One of my most romantic moments was the night my boyfriend took me on a spontaneous trip to his favourite places: a park in which I we hugged under a cloudy night sky then went and sat at the back of a church overlooking the whole city. To go to the places he goes when he's got no one else around, and to have him take me with him, was just totally special and wonderful.

  27. gorgeous! When I think romantic the first thing that comes to mind is a moment I had with my first love, we were very young and at a party. It started to rain really hard so everyone went inside but us. Since it was such a classy apartment (ah hem) there was an old couch outside and we had our first kiss on the couch in the pouring rain. Ohh to be young and in love.

  28. Beautiful journals. I would be delighted with any of them.

My most romantic moment is the moment I met my husband for the first time. We 'met' online and fell in love through phone calls every evening. You see, he lived in Washington and I live in Wisconsin. Finally, he visited me. The moment I saw him in the airport, with 2 dozen pink roses for me, my heart fluttered. It was the best 3 days. Travelling back and forth the next few years, my heart still fluttered each 'first' time I saw him at the airports.

  29. wow wow wow do i want one of those journals! as for the most romantic story... a few years ago when i was still in college, an ex-boyfriend flew from Chicago to L.A. to surprise me for my birthday. he had to get special permission from his football coach to miss the first 2 days of practice (a HUGE deal!), and pull a bunch of other strings to make it work out as a surprise. and surprised i was! to make it even more romantic, he also gave me a diamond ring shaped like a daisy (my favorite flower). too sweet :)

  30. I love Bronze Deco, it will make such a statement on my desk!!
    My first entry:
After my mastectomy my 'soon-to-be-husband' was a bit reluctant to see the scar as he is a bit squeamish about such things. However, when revealed, he leant over and kissed it. (Tears well up even now when I think about it).
Thanks for the chance to win Lou.

  31. Wow these journals are beautiful! My most romantic moment was a few years ago when my then boyfriend (now husband) and I had first moved in together. We were in a small one bedroom flat and I was having a particularly stressful week at work. All I wanted was a nice hot bath to soak in.....one day I got home from work to find a blow up pool in the lounge room waiting for me to get in! It was such a beautiful gesture, he moved the furniture out and everything! I think that is the day I realised that this guy was for me for life!

  32. Oh gosh, the peacock blush is STUNNING!

The most romantic moment for me was when my partner filled my hospital room with the most gorgeous roses. I knew I looked horrible but he made me feel like a real princess.

  35. I still have yet to meet my fated person, but here my fantasy of a romantic moment. My boy can sing and play the guitar well. He loves astronomy so much, that he even has a space to star gaze. So one night, he sends me text to go to his 'favourite place', and so I assume he meant the place we would star gaze together. Assuming it would be another day of star gazing, I walk in to the room, and suddenly under the full moon, I see him singing a new song composed for myself. When he finishes, he tells me too look up. Confused as I am, I listen to him. He then proceeds to tell me to find a small heart shaped like star. I couldn't see it, so he tells me to go closer and look. So I step closer to the window, and there, there was a shiny small heart wedged between the windows. He smiled and tells me to take it out. So I did, and surprised as I was, he went down on one knee and proposed. I nodded, barely containing my tears, and he helps me put on the couple ring. :)

  37. Love the peacock one!!

I'm a huge fan of writing in journals - have been doing so since I was 12! So my journals are filled with so many romantic and memorable moments that it always makes me smile to read them back. It's hard to pick one, but remembering the day I knew I was in love can always lift me up :)

I'd love something as beautiful as these to continue recording memories :)

  39. The most romantic moment i would love to note in one of those beautiful journals is the evening my boyfriend (now my husband!) and i spent in the most quaint bed and breakfast when he came home from school after 6 months away. it was located right on the ocean and there was a mysterious mist that surrounded the B&B and it felt like we were floating on a cloud!

PS. I adore the silver deco!

  40. Beautiful journals!

Sometimes it's the small romantic moments that have the biggest impact - My partner went for a health check up and received a print out of his heartbeat, he gave it to me with a little note on the back saying that I have his heart in my hands......*swoons*

  42. My most romantic moment would be when my husband surprised me on our honeymoon by ordering a horse and cart to wait at our hotel in Rome and take us around the city at dusk... It was the most romantic night of our lives, surrounded by ancient history including the magnificent fountain of trevi... Wow!!
