Our new house: Another (visual) update...

Kind of crappy photos, but not half as crappy as the weekend
it took to get it looking like this!

(above) Main bedroom before and (below) main
bedroom freshly painted, without carpet.
We deliberated for weeks whether or not to paint over the timber, and ended up going for it. While preserving the 50s feel of the house is an enormous priority, we're also mindful of it's proximity to the beach and wanted to introduce a modern, beachy vibe. Or as I mentioned on Twitter the other day "70s surf shack is my new design mantra"!

without carpet.
This will be Mini Tonic #2's room. It's. TINY. She may not even fit.

  14. how exciting - looks like an awesome house. all the hard work will be worth it for sure. (I probably would have left the panelling, and painted those cupboard doors white instead, but that's probably because I have been waiting on some panelling to be installed for 5 years). I'm sure you'll have it looking [even more!] superb in no time.

  27. Definitely believe that which you stated. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the internet the simplest thing
to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while people consider worries that they just do not know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top and also defined out the whole thing without having side effect , people can take a signal.
Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
