I was recently sent a copy of a beautiful interiors book, "Interiors Now!" - the first volume of Angelika Taschen's series on contemporary interiors. What's inside? 414 pages of hard-core eye candy, in the form of "the world's most amazing, exquisite and interesting apartments and homes from Antwerp to Zurich, via Chiang Mai, Copenhagen, Mumbai, Moscow, Tokyo and Shanghai". They're all incredibly beautiful, creative spaces and if you need a bit of inspiration for your home, you've found it! I would describe this book as "The Selby goes A-list". And I can't speak highly enough about it.
The many magnificent home featured, include:
• Gallerist David Gill's gallery/flat in London • A "businessman's" penthouse in Athens, Greece • Art Director Rama Gilles & furniture/product designer Alain Gilles's "Lofthouse" in Brussels • Publisher Angelika Taschen's Berlin apartment • Gallerists Nicole Hackert & Bruno Brunnett's German villa • Fashion Designer Roberto Cavalli's apartment in Milan, Italy • Writer Alexander Timofeevsky's apartment in Moscow, Russia • Designer Samira Leal & Architect Rafic Farah's Sao Paulo House
Angelika Taschen was right on when she predicted that "these houses, residences, apartments and studios are destined to astonish and inspire you, irrespective of your personal taste". I don't think there was a single home in this book I didn't
like absolutely adore. Buy it here.
