On sale now: Living etc magazine - May 2010

Looks like a(nother) gorgeous issue of Living etc. Will be hunting it down in my local newsagent today. PS You can view a May minimag (complete tease!) here.

(above) One example of matchy-matchy at it's finest. Plus, I'm a major sucker for coral - the graphic red or natural white kind (it never really hit the big time in Australia for some reason...).

There's only one thing I love more than an alcove, and thats a "10 ways with alcoves" feature. PS A mirror ball next to chopped wood? Somebody give that stylist a payrise!

(above) A blank/white room + neutral coloured furniture + accessories that pop = a winnng decorating formula. Write it down. I'll wait.
These "Retro inspired bamboo stools" are just edible - I'd love 6 of them around an outdoor table. From plumo.com

(above) Never underestimate the power of a colour coded bookcase!
(above) Handmade crystal flower bottles. I just know you're all going to be dying over these! Buy them at dartington.co.uk

  1. Stop it! I was just looking at some stools on Ebay last night
(Item no: 400114985453) and had almost forgotten about them as they were too far away. Not quite as fab as those above but they have potential. Paint and a no-sew recover and they could give them a run for their money.

  12. I'm a big fan of Living Etc and have been reading it for years. Looking forward to this issue. I know this is very nitpicky of me but what is with the crazy font on the word Wonderful on the front cover of the mag? It seems so out of place on Living Etc.
